常言道：静坐常思己过，闲谈莫论人非。

又人言：道德是提升自我的明灯，不是呵责别人的鞭子。

其实看别人不顺眼，是自己修养不够。

魔心叫你看什么都不顺眼，佛心叫你看什么都顺眼。

大慧律师说：学道人逐日但将检点他人底工夫，常自检点，道业无有不办，或喜或怒或静或闹，皆是检点时节。

盘山禅师说：修行人大忌，说人长短是非，乃至一切世事非干己者，口不可说，心不可思。

但口说心思，便是昧了自己。

若专练心，常搜己过，那得工夫管他家屋里事？

粉骨碎身，唯心莫动。

收拾自心如一尊木雕圣像坐在堂中，终日无人亦如此！

旙盖簇拥、香花供养亦如此！

赞叹亦如此！

毁谤亦如此！

修行人常常心上无事，时时刻刻体究自己本命元辰端的处。
